10 bani extra for each recycled package, regardless of quantity, offered by Auchan to customers who recycle at the machines in the retailer's stores and use the loyalty card, regardless of where they made their purchases.

Auchan invites Romanians to recycle more and, even if they have purchased from other stores, offers them an additional bonus for recycled packages, for a period of 4 months.

Until September 15, customers who scan their MyCLUB Auchan loyalty card at the RVM collection machines in Auchan stores receive a guarantee of 0.5 lei per package, valid for 12 months from the moment of issuance, and as an extra advantage, 0.1 lei* per package with the "Package with guarantee" symbol, in the form of a loyalty voucher available in the Auchan app. Also, when awarding the extra advantage of 0.1 lei/package with the recycled symbol, there is no limit on the quantity of recycled packages.

Currently, all Auchan stores are equipped with RVM collection and recycling machines for PET/glass/aluminum packages. Each collection point in the large stores – hypermarkets and supermarkets – is equipped with 2-4 recycling machines, and in ultra-proximity stores, there is one such machine available.

"We reward our loyal customers with extra benefits on every occasion, and with this bonus, we aim to encourage even more the recycling of packages with the Package with Guarantee symbol.

Auchan, the first retailer to join the Recycling Round, offered customers the possibility to bring used packages for collection and recycling at specially arranged points equipped with automatic collection machines (RVM) even 7 months before the official launch of the SGR project. Thus, only during this period, 32 million packages were collected nationwide. Auchan customers have been particularly receptive to adopting responsible consumption behavior and have understood the importance of recycling, constantly involving themselves in this endeavor.

Auchan also runs other actions together with its suppliers to encourage Romanians to recycle, through various discounts offered through the loyalty card.

Moreover, this method of collection is not new to Auchan, being the first retailer in Romania to introduce, in 2011, in some of its stores, RVM machines for PET recovery.
